Impact of DKWFB on Education

Introduction

Darul Khidmah Wal Falah, Bangladesh (DKWFB) is a Non-Governmental Organisaffion with a difference. Not only is it concerned with education, health care, self-empowerment and the alleviation of poverty in Bangladesh, but it also strives for the moral and spiritual wellbeing of the poor and needy.

Bangladesh, a country with a population of 180 million, has made significant economic progress since its independence, yet the gap between rich and poor has grown substantially.

There is abject poverty in some areas of society, both rural and urban. Moreover, there is a glaring lack of proper educational facilities, health care, housing and infrastructure. DKWFB was set up in 1998 to address some of these issues and to embark on projects which will contribute to the overall well-being of society.

It is the work of a group of committed like-minded people with modest resources, who have decided to take some positive action to alleviate poverty in Bangladesh through a variety of programmes, some of which are presented in this report through photographs.

Darul Khidmah Wal Falah, Bangladesh is registered with the NGO Bureau (reg. no. 1522). It is also registered with the Social Welfare Department (reg. no. D-06349).
It has a General Body of 46 Members, an Advisory Board of 10 Members and an Executive Committee of 11 Members.

Education is a beacon of hope, and our school, Alorpath (Path to Light), embodies this belief. We’re committed to nurturing a generation of knowledgeable individuals. Additionally, DKWFB runs programs for correct Quran recitation, Idul Fitr gift distribution, and Idul Adha Qurbani meat distribution to serve our community.

We invite you to join us generously in our mission to alleviate poverty and enlighten lives through education in Bangladesh. Your support makes a meaningful difference. May the Almighty bless us all. My warm and respectful regards to all of you. Ameen.
