Introduction
Alhamdulillah Rabbil ‘Alamin. Mankind is the finest creation of the Creator of the universe. Allah Ta’ala, throughout the ages, has honored His great prophets with the titles of Khalil (friend), Rafiq (companion), and Habib (beloved) through various tests. The father of the Muslim nation, Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him), was tested by being commanded to sacrifice his beloved son, and thus was honored with the title of Khalil. This sacrifice was made obligatory for his successors. That is today’s Eid-ul-Adha. Eid-ul-Adha, or the Feast of Sacrifice, is a day of joy for all Muslims worldwide, both rich and poor, and the helpless. To ensure that poor and helpless Muslims can also enjoy the joy of this day with the wealthy, “Darul Khidmah Wal Falah Bangladesh” has been sacrificing cows and goats for the sake of Allah in various regions of Bangladesh since 2000, and distributing all the meat among the poor and helpless.
