Interest-Free Investment Program

Introduction

Allah, the Exalted, has declared business lawful and usury (interest) unlawful in the Holy Quran. The majority of NGOs and privately owned lending institutions in our country, driven solely by economic greed, are operating their loan programs without regard for what is lawful (halal) or unlawful (haram). Consequently, the extremely impoverished people of our country, falling victim to complex circumstances, are taking loans from these usurious moneylenders and becoming immersed in the great sin of interest. Not only are they sinking into sin, but the economic condition of these (borrowing) families is also deteriorating to the extreme limits of poverty due to debt. This is because there is no blessing in interest. However, some exceptions are observed in society, but their context is different. Intending to rescue the religious people of this country from the great sin of interest and the tool of exploitation prevalent in society, Darul Khidmah Wal Falah Bangladesh has launched the IGP (Income Generating Project) project. In any endeavor in this world, success and failure go hand in hand. However, the path to success should not be blocked by the fear of failure, and everyone tries to follow certain rules and regulations in the hope of success.

Aims and Objectives

In this world, generally, people do not intend to perform any task without a purpose. Every action, whether good or bad, has some underlying objective.

(a) To protect people (especially Muslims) from the interest-based business that destroys faith and society and to attract them to lawful transactions.

(b) To generate some income for Darul Khidmah through capital investment. With increased income, Darul Khidmah can spend on more welfare-oriented activities.

(c) To facilitate the economic development of brothers and sisters involved in the caravan to establish an Islamic society in this country through the provision of loans. Additionally, many other aspects need not be described.
