The study tour to the National Museum organized by Alor Poth School was an enriching and educational experience for the students. Held on June 3, 2023, the tour aimed to provide students with a deeper understanding of Bangladesh’s history, culture, and heritage.

The day began with students and teachers gathering at the school, where they were briefed on the itinerary and the educational objectives of the tour. Upon arriving at the National Museum, students were greeted by knowledgeable guides who led them through various exhibits.

The tour included visits to several key sections of the museum, such as the history gallery, the ethnography and decorative art gallery, and the contemporary art gallery. Students had the opportunity to see artifacts, artworks, and interactive displays that brought their lessons to life. They learned about the rich cultural heritage of Bangladesh, including traditional crafts, historical events, and significant figures in the country’s history.

One of the highlights of the tour was the visit to the Liberation War Gallery, where students gained insights into the country’s struggle for independence and the sacrifices made by the freedom fighters. The exhibits, including photographs, documents, and personal stories, provided a powerful and moving experience for the students.

Throughout the tour, students were encouraged to ask questions, take notes, and participate in discussions to enhance their understanding of the exhibits.
