Set up in 1998 by Prof. Ghulam Sarwar, former Vice Chairman and Treasurer of Muslim Aid cater for a need of providing humanitarian, educational, health and empowerment facilities for the local poor, impoverished and destitute people in the slums of Dhaka and other areas of Bangladesh.
The aims and objectives of Darul Khidmah Wal Falah Bangladesh is to empower the less fortunate and destitute people in Bangladesh by promoting self-reliance through educational and poverty reduction programs. We aim to facilitate social and developmental activities that contribute to the economic development of the country, especially for young unemployed males and females. Our efforts also include increasing awareness about moral and spiritual values, human rights, freedom of expression, and the importance of education, health, hygiene, and housing. We believe in promoting non-formal education and literacy for illiterate children, adolescents, and adults to eradicate illiteracy from the country. Through charitable and developmental activities, we strive to promote the values of Islam and seek the pleasure of Almighty Allah by serving the poor and needy people.
