About DKWFB
Set up in 1998 by Prof. Ghulam Sarwar, former Vice Chairman and Treasurer of Muslim Aid cater for a need of providing humanitarian, educational, health and empowerment facilities for the local poor, impoverished and destitute people in the slums of Dhaka and other areas of Bangladesh.
The aims and objectives of Darul Khidmah Wal Falah Bangladesh:
- To help the less fortunate, poor and destitute people to be self-reliant.
- To arrange educational and poverty reduction programmes to help those need.
- To facilitate educational, social and developmental activities in Bangladesh.
- To arrange programmes to help the young male and female unemployed people and contribute to the economic development of Bangladesh.
- To help to increase awareness about moral and spiritual values, human rights, freedom of expression, the importance of education, health, hygiene and housing.
- To promote Non-formal education and literacy for illiterate children, adolescents, and adults to eradicate illiteracy from the country.
- To promote the values of Islam through charitable and developmental activities.
- To seek the pleasure of Almighty Allah by helping and serving the poor and the needy people.
